Physiotherapy Assistant

Shreya is an internationally trained physiotherapist from India. She recently completed her Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences with a specialization in Cancer from the University of Alberta where she worked under the guidance of Dr. Margaret McNeeley. During her time in Edmonton, Shreya was involved in researching the effects of yoga and resistance exercise intervention for lung cancer survivors and their caregivers. The main groups of cancer clients she had the opportunity to work with included head and neck, lung, breast, colorectal and brain.
Shreya is excited to apply her research experience in developing an individualised fitness program for our clients. She is a strong believer that healing occurs in conjunction with mind and body. She is excited to combine her passion of yoga and rehabilitation in helping to guide our clients towards a holistic approach to care.
